Coping with a loss during the holidays
Losing a loved one by divorce, break-ups, death, relocation or even arguments can have a significant effect on people. The sounds of laughter, lights illuminating the town, seasonal music, the smell of secret, family recipes, greeting cards, shopping or expecting to spend time with someone are things we look forward to during the holidays. The omission of loved ones during what is considered a joyous time can cause a massive heartbreak.
